5 Days Tarangire Serengeti and Ngorongoro
5 days safari is guaranteed to give you the opportunity of seeing all Africa’s big five plus experience the great wildebeest migration. In this safari you will Tarangire national park, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti national park.
Day 1; Tarangire National Park
- After breakfast, depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (about 2-3 hours).
- Enjoy a full day game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant population and diverse wildlife.
- Picnic lunch in the park.
- Overnight stay in a lodge or camp near Tarangire.
Day 2; Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park (approximately 5-6 hours).
- Game drive en route to your accommodation.
- Explore the Serengeti’s vast plains and its incredible wildlife.
- Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge or camp in the Serengeti.
Day 3; Serengeti National Park
- Enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti, with opportunities to spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros).
- Optional hot air balloon safari (if desired).
- Picnic lunch in the park.
- Continue game driving and return to your lodge or camp for the night.
Day 4; Ngorongoro Crater
- Leave the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater.
- Embark on a game drive into the crater, which is known for its high concentration of wildlife. You can spot rhinos, lions, hippos, and a variety of other animals within this unique ecosystem.
- Spend the night at a lodge or campsite near the crater.
Day 5; Return to Arusha/Moshi
- On the final day, enjoy a leisurely morning in the Ngorongoro area before making your way back to Arusha, the starting point of your safari.
- Take in the beautiful scenery along the way and reflect on the incredible wildlife experiences you’ve had during your 5 day safari in Tanzania.
