OVERVIEW

The Usambara Mountains are a beautiful and scenic mountain range in Tanzania, known for their lush landscapes and vibrant culture. The two main ranges are the West Usambara and the East Usambara. Here’s a suggested itinerary for exploring the Usambara Mountains:

Day 1; Magamba Forest and Irente Viewpoint

  • Start your day with a visit to Magamba Forest Reserve, a beautiful rainforest.
  • Hike through the forest, enjoying the diverse flora and fauna.
  • In the afternoon, visit Irente Viewpoint for stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 2; Hiking to Mkuzi Waterfall
